About 99% of therapeutic molecules taken up by cells become trapped in intracellular compartments and degraded before they can reach their functional target.
At SphereBio we got inspired by viral machinery to design our foundational technology - XSpheres™- non-viral cell-derived nanovehicles modified to act like trojan-horses, entering cells and releasing their cargo inside.

Our lead product, OncoSpheres™️, is a personalized cancer vaccine built using XSpheres™️ produced from a patient's own tumor biopsy. Unlike conventional approaches that pre-select a limited set of tumor signals as targets, OncoSpheres™️ carry almost all the information contained in the patient’s tumor. Delivering more comprehensive tumor information directly inside immune cells is a key factor in generating a broader and more potent immune cell repertoire to recognize and eliminate cancer cells.
